I want to be clear and transparent about who I am and how I work, so you can decide whether this feels like a good fit.

I am a Holistic Mind and Life Coach with Master’s-level training in transpersonal psychotherapy, drama therapy, holistic counseling, holistic life coaching, and related approaches. I’m not a state-licensed medical or mental health provider. I don’t diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or provide medical or psychotherapy treatment.

Our work together is meant to support practical growth, steadier self-understanding, and day-to-day integration. It isn’t a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or licensed mental health care. If you have a medical or mental health concern, I encourage you to seek support from a licensed provider.

My role and training

I, Jonathan Stein, hold a Master’s degree and advanced training in transpersonal psychotherapy, drama therapy, holistic counseling, holistic life coaching, and other complementary approaches. I use the professional title Holistic Mind and Life Coach to describe my work.

I am not licensed as a psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, counselor, physician, or other healthcare provider. I do not diagnose or treat mental disorders, prescribe medication, or provide medical care.

Nature of my services

My sessions are intended to offer reflection, guidance, education, and support for your personal development and well-being.

• They may be meaningful and impactful.
• They are not healthcare or psychotherapy.
• They are not meant to replace care from licensed medical or mental health professionals.
• I don’t offer medical, nutritional, or medication advice.

If at any point it becomes clear that you need a different kind of support, we can talk about that directly, and I may encourage you to seek care from a licensed provider.

Safety and crisis support

I don’t provide crisis services. If you believe you may be a danger to yourself or others, or if you’re experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

Responsibility and expectations

I’ll show up with care, honesty, and professionalism. At the same time, I can’t guarantee specific results. Each person’s experience is different, and growth unfolds in its own way.

Assumption of responsibility and limitation of liability

By choosing to work with me, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and taking responsibility for your own well-being.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Jonathan Stein is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes that result from your participation in coaching sessions, classes, workshops, written materials, or use of this website. This includes direct or indirect effects of how you interpret or apply the material we explore together.

This agreement is not intended to waive rights you cannot legally waive. It is meant to clearly define the nature of this work and the boundaries of responsibility.

No guarantees

I don’t promise or guarantee specific outcomes. My work is offered as support for reflection, learning, and integration, not as a cure or solution.

Electronic signature consent

By typing your name below, you consent to the use of electronic records and signatures. You understand that your electronic signature carries the same legal weight as a handwritten one.

Governing law

This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes related to this agreement or your participation in my services will be handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Hampshire County, Massachusetts.

If you reside outside the United States, you acknowledge that these services are offered from within the U.S., and you are responsible for complying with your local laws.

Entire agreement

This Disclaimer reflects our full understanding regarding the scope and nature of my services. If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
