About Me and How I Got Here

A Journey of Integration

With over three decades of experience as a transpersonal psychotherapist, including 13 years in private practice, I find myself at an exciting juncture in my professional journey. My approach has evolved to seamlessly integrate traditional mental health practices with holistic life coaching and psycho-spiritual direction, offering a unique blend of support for those seeking personal growth, healing, and transpersonal development.

Wisdom Traditions and Influences

My practice is deeply influenced by principles from the world’s wisdom traditions, which have revolutionized my understanding of healing and human potential. Throughout my years of study and practice, I’ve been profoundly impacted by the works of Ram Das, Stanislav Groff, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, and Pema Chödrön, among many others. My exploration has been extensive, encompassing Sufi mysticism, Buddhist meditation, Yoga and Ayurveda, Earth-based spirituality and eco-psychology, Christian mysticism, A Course in Miracles (ACIM), transpersonal psychology, counseling, peer counseling, and expressive arts therapies.

Vision and Philosophy

My vision , now realized, is an innovative practice that bridges mental health support, coaching, and transpersonal guidance. At the core of my approach is a deep knowing that each person has an innate capacity for healing, happiness, and thriving in all aspects of life – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Guiding with Experience

This rich tapestry of learning and experience, combined with my expertise in holistic and transpersonal psychology, allows me to guide individuals in aligning with their highest intentions and connecting with their wisest Self, their Inner Teacher. Much of my early learning continues to influence everything I do—whether in my work, in leisure, or within the realms of contemplation and meditation.

Empowerment Through Choice

I believe that we are each responsible for our lived experience. Empowerment blossoms when we recognize our capacity for choice rather than attributing our state to external factors. In my work, I support others in reclaiming their inner knowing through the power of truly being heard, having their experience validated, and being held in the highest vision of their potential.

A Purposeful Transition

My work is deeply rooted in purpose and mindful presence, aiming to make a significant, positive difference in people’s lives. With the transition of my practice from a psychotherapy model to a holistic mental health and coaching model, I remain enthusiastic about connecting with like-minded professionals and clients on this transformative journey.
